NEW! INSET-VL Centre is in tandem with the Government’s policy on education, training and research based on the recommendations of the National Conference on Education and Training held in November 2003 (Sessional Paper No. 1 of 2005 on A Policy Framework for Education, Training and Research). The Policy is a statement of the Government’s commitment to providing basic quality education and training to its citizens for overall development in collaboration with sector stakeholders; also to enhance the ability of Kenyans to preserve and utilize the environment for productive gain and sustainable livelihoods.
To fulfil its mandate and objectives, the Ministry of Education required a strong partnership with stakeholders: communities, civil society, Community Based Organisation (CBO), Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), religious organisation, other government institutions, development partners and the private sector.
